Cashback calculator: how much money-back really counts
The cashback calculator helps you estimate how much of a loss rebate (cashback) actually remains after caps and wagering. Cashback promises a certain percentage of your net loss back, but the terms decide whether it’s real money or a wagerable bonus again.
The basic cashback formula
Cashback given = net loss × cashback % (up to the cap)
If the cashback comes as a bonus, wagering is added: required turnover = cashback × wagering multiplier.
A €200 net loss and 10% cashback.
- Net loss€200
- Cashback 10%€200 × 10% = €20
- With 1× wagering€20 is practically real money
- With 10× wagering (96% RTP)effective value ~€12
What the cap changes
A cashback cap (e.g. €50 maximum) limits the rebate on big losses. With a large net loss the actual cashback percentage can be much lower than the headline promises.
Tips
- Prefer cashback with no wagering (1× or real money).
- Check whether cashback is calculated from your net loss or only from certain games.
