Guide

Max cashout impact calculator

The max cashout calculator shows how a cashout cap compresses a bonus’s real value. Many offers look attractive by their headline bonus amount, but a maximum-cashout clause limits how much you can keep at all after wagering.

What the maximum cashout is

The maximum cashout is a cap on how large a final balance you can withdraw from a bonus — the rest is voided. It’s especially harsh with no-deposit bonuses and free spins.

Formula

Profit cap = maximum cashout − deposit

Example: a harsh 3× cashout cap

A €100 bonus and a 3× cashout cap.

  • Bonus€100
  • Maximum cashout€300 (3× bonus)

The uncapped effective value could be higher, but the cap cuts off a potential win at €300. Once wagering and the RTP loss are accounted for, the actual expected value is smaller still.

Why this clause matters

Two equally sized bonuses can actually differ by multiples if one has a 3× cashout cap and the other has none. A cap quietly turns a strong-looking offer into a much weaker one.

Tips

Frequently asked questions

What is the maximum cashout on a bonus?
It’s the cap on how much of the balance from a bonus you can withdraw. Anything above the cap is voided, even if you’ve met the wagering.
How does the cashout cap affect a bonus’s value?
A cap cuts off a potential win at a certain amount, reducing a bonus’s expected value. A 3× cap is much harsher than 10× or an uncapped offer.
Do no-deposit bonuses have a cashout cap?
Almost always. No-deposit bonuses and free spins usually have a low cashout cap that significantly limits the real value.
